British character actors I think are under rated. Names you probably don't know but faces you do.

1. Phil Davis

One of my favorite British character actors. He never ails to entertain and can play part from silly to serious and intense. Mr Davis says, "I've never been able to talk properly about it. I just do it." And he always makes the most of any part he plays

Robson Green is always "watchable". From the slightly physic detective on Blood in the Wire to the grumpy country detective in Grantchester he is always spot on in his interpretation of the part. Like most of my favorite actors he seems very happy to have the gig and gives each part the full pull. "I'm one of the lucky few in this country, and I never lose sight of the honor or the privilege this career has given me."
